TSN Blue Jays reporter Scott Mitchell recently released his annual Top 50 Toronto Blue Jays prospect list for 2024.
A total of 30 players who spent time with the Vancouver Canadians made the list. The 30 are listed below along with Mitchell’s projections on which team in the Jays system each prospect will begin the 2024 season. The years the player spent with Vancouver are in parentheses.

Honourable Mentions on Mitchell’s list include pitchers Trent Palmer (2022) and Trenton Wallace (2022-2023), catcher Zach Britton (2022), first baseman Peyton Williams (2023) and second baseman Nick Goodwin (2023).
Mitchell believes outfielder Gabby Martinez and righthanders Dahian Santos and Ryan Jennings will return to Vancouver to begin the 2024 campaign. Other top prospects Mitchell thinks will be with the C’s on Opening Day are lefthander Kendry Rojas (#10), outfielder Jace Bohrofen (#17) and second baseman/shortstop Manuel Beltre (#43) who were all with Low-A Dunedin in 2023.
One surprising omission from the Top 50 and the Honourable Mentions is infielder Michael Turconi who put together a strong campaign in Vancouver with a .904 on-base-plus-slugging percentage before struggling in New Hampshire. Turconi was named a Northwest League Post-Season All-Star and MiLB.com Organizational Star in the Jays system.
Baseball America 31-40. Baseball Prospectus + The Athletic Top 20
Baseball America also released the 31-40 prospects (subscription required) on the farm for the Jays.
Doughty and De Jesús are 31 and 32, Van Eyk, 2023 infielder Nick Goodwin, Harrison and Gabby Martinez take up the 34-37 slots respectively with Ryan Jennings and Brown at 39 and 40. Combined with 18 former C’s in BA’s Top 30, that brings in the total of former C’s in BA’s Top 40 to 25.
The Baseball Prospectus List Top 20 (subscription required) has Tiedemann and Orelvis Martinez in the top two with Barger (5), Kasevich (6), Macko (7), Santos (9) and Horwitz (10) in the top 10. Dallas, Zulueta, Roden, Doughty and De Jesús take up spots 11-15 respectively. Brown (16), Cooke (17) and Palmegiani (19) round out the 15 former C’s on the list.
The Athletic also released its Top 20 (subscription required) Blue Jays prospects for 2024.
Tiedemann and Orelvis Martinez headline the nine former C’s on the list by occupying the top two spots on the list. Jiménez and Barger come in at four and five and Dallas is rated 10th. Roden (12), Macko (13), Doughty (16) and Zulueta (18) round out the list. Gabby Martinez got an honourable mention.
