The Vancouver Canadians were held off the scoreboard as the Spokane Indians posted a 3-0 win at Avista Stadium on Wednesday.

Spokane scored the winning run in the fifth against Vancouver starter Juaron Watts-Brown. A one-out single to right field by GJ Hill and walks to EJ Andrews Jr. and Cole Carrigg loaded the bases after Hill stole second base. Dyan Jorge came up with a sacrifice fly to right to score Hill.

A Hill home run to right field with one out in the seventh off Grayson Thurman made it 2-0 Spokane. In the eighth, Kai Peterson plunked Jorge with a pitch and he stole second and third. The latter came on a called strikeout of Charlie Condon as Jorge took advantage of C’s catcher Jacob Sharp not getting the ball back to Peterson on the mound. Cole Messina singled to right to drive in Jorge.
