The Vancouver Canadians ended a two-game losing streak with a 10-1 victory over the Spokane Indians at Avista Stadium on Friday.

A four-run third inning against Spokane starter Jack Mahoney put the C’s on the road to victory. Jacob Sharp and Victor Arias had back-to-back one-out singles to left field and center field were doubled home by Adrian Pinto who kept one fair down the right field line. Jace Bohrofen punctuated the rally by bashing a two-run home run to right.
The C’s got halfway to 10 in the fourth when Jay Harry walked and scored on a Jackson Hornung double to right-center.
Vancouver left no doubt the game was effectively over in the seventh. Pinto led off with a walk and stole second and third base. Peyton Williams also worked before Bohrofen was drilled in the back by Felix Ramires to load the bases. Ramires balked Pinto home before Cutter Coffey chopped a double past a drawn-in infield down the line in left to bring in Williams and Bohrofen. Harry then hammered a pitch over the right field wall to bring in Coffey to cap off a five-run rally. Sergio Sánchez would pitch the rest of the way for Spokane.
GJ Hill accounted for Spokane’s only run with a home run to right-center off Chay Yeager in the eighth inning. Kendry Rojas shut down Spokane for seven innings before Irv Carter finished it up in the ninth.
C-Notes

Rojas saw the first two batters he faced reach base in the first when Cole Carrigg singled to right and Dyan Jorge singled to center but Rojas retired the side after that, picking off Carrigg at second by stepping off the mound and running Carrigg back towards second where he was tagged out by Pinto.
A Carrigg infield single to short with two outs in the third and a Kyle Karros walk with one out in the fourth were kept in check by Rojas, who induced an around-the-horn double play off Cole Messina to end the fourth inning.
Another double play helped Rojas end the fifth after Skyler Messinger led off with a double to center and Hill walked. Harry made a diving stop on a liner by Jesus Bugarin and nearly doubled off Messinger on a flip to second base. Harry would start a 6-4-3 twin-killing off the bat of Jean Perez to finish the frame.
A Charlie Condon strikeout ended a clean sixth for Rojas and strikeouts of Karros and Messinger bookended a perfect seventh.
Carter fanned EJ Andrews Jr. and Condon and stranded a Karros double to center before logging in to get Messina on a groundout to short to wrap up the game.
Pinto had the first Vancouver hit with a single to center with one out in the first and Coffey had a leadoff walk in the second. A Pinto single to left in the fifth, a Je’Von Ward double to right and a Jacob Sharp walk in the sixth and a Hornung two-out walk and Ward infield single to third in the ninth were the other Vancouver safeties.
Grant Rogers gets the ball for Vancouver on Saturday in a 6:35 p.m. start at Avista Stadium.
