September 16 – 2022-2023 Canadians righthander Matt Svanson converts 27 saves for Springfield Cardinals to lead all of Double-A.
September 17 – Lefthander Adam Macko (2023) gets promoted from Double-A New Hampshire to Triple-A Buffalo.
September 18 – Outfielder Victor Arias (2024) named to Low-A All-Star Team by Minor League Baseball.
September 18 – Lefty Zach Logue (2017) gets called up by the Los Angeles Dodgers from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

September 19 – Canadians manager Brent Lavallee (2024), first baseman Peyton Williams (2023-2024) and catcher Jackson Hornung (2024) named to Northwest League All-Star Team by Minor League Baseball.
September 20 – Matt Svanson converts save in Game 1 of Texas League final for Springfield against Arkansas with perfect ninth inning, striking out Seattle Mariners prospect Harry Ford to end it.
September 20 – Outfielder Alan Roden (2023) named Stan Barron Most Valuable Player by the Buffalo Bisons.
September 21 – Righthanders Chad Dallas (2022-2023) and Carson Pierce (2024) undergo Tommy John surgery according to Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi.

September 23 – Alan Roden is named the Toronto Blue Jays minor league player of the year by Baseball America.
September 24 – Righthander Eric Pardinho (2022-2023) is named an Eastern League Double-A All-Star by Minor League Baseball.
September 24 – First baseman Rowdy Tellez (2014) is released by the Pittsburgh Pirates, falling four plate appearances short of a $200,000 bonus.

September 25 – Infielder Adrian Pinto (2024) and Peyton Williams (2023-2024) and pitchers TJ Brock (2022-2023), Lazaro Estrada (2024), Ryan Jennings (2023-2024), Johnathan Lavallee (2024) and Kendry Rojas (2024) are assigned to the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League. Matt Svanson joins the Glendale Desert Dogs.
September 27 – Righthander Lazaro Estrada signs two-year deal to remain with the Toronto Blue Jays organization according to reporter Francys Romero.
October 5 – The New York Yankees select lefthander Tim Mayza (2014) and infielder Jon Berti (2011) to their ALDS postseason roster but do not add righthander Marcus Stroman (2012).
October 8 – Jon Berti starts at first base for the Yankees for the first time in his career, marking the fifth time in baseball history that a player made his first career start at a fielding position (except as pitcher and DH) in postseason play.
October 15 – The Vancouver Canadians announce its 2025 schedule which opens on Friday, April 4 at Tri-City. The home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 against Eugene. Monty’s Mounties will play Everett on Canada Day, Tuesday, July 1 and head to Everett for the 4th of July. The regular season concludes on Sunday, September 7 against Everett. Home game times are 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday to Thursday and 1:05 p.m. Friday and Sunday. Saturday games from April to June are set for 1:05 p.m. with Saturday contests from July to September at 7:05 p.m.
October 16 – Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Spencer Horwitz (2019, 2021) is named to the All-Rookie Second-Team by MLB Pipeline.
October 16 – Outfielder Alan Roden is named the hitting prospect of the year in the Toronto Blue Jays system by MLB Pipeline.
October 25 – Infielder Jon Berti is left off the Yankees World Series roster after right hip flexor strain running the bases in Game 4 of ALCS against Cleveland. Hurlers Marcus Stroman and Tim Mayza make the roster.

October 29 – First baseman Peyton Williams homers twice for Scottsdale against Peoria in Arizona Fall League action.
October 30 – Los Angeles Dodgers first base coach Clayton McCullough (2012-2013 C’s manager) celebrates World Series victory over the Yankees.
October 30 – Friend of the blog and author of the Future Blue Jays newsletter D.M. Fox announces Harry Ray (2022 C’s utilityman) is promoted to Northern California area scout by the Toronto Blue Jays after working at the Player Development Complex in Dunedin.
October 31 – Baseball America reports that catcher Robert Brooks (2024) and righthander Johnathan Lavallee signed minor league deals with the Toronto Blue Jays.
November 4 – Infielder Luis De Los Santos (2019, 2021) is claimed off waivers by the New York Mets after making MLB debut with the Toronto Blue Jays on July 31.
November 4 – Pitcher Lazaro Estrada is selected to the Arizona Fall League All-Star Game.
November 4 – First baseman Peyton Williams is selected to take part in the Arizona Fall League Home Run Derby.
November 4 – Oakville, Ontario native and center fielder Dasan Brown (2022-2024) is named a Rawlings Gold Glove winner.
November 11 – Dodgers first base coach Clayton McCullough is named the new manager of the Miami Marlins.
November 12 – Former BC premier John Horgan passes away at 65 after a battle with cancer. A big supporter of the Vancouver Canadians who urged the Toronto Blue Jays to maintain its affiliation in the fall of 2020 after the restructuring of Minor League Baseball.
November 14 – Pitcher Ryan Jennings collects save for Scottsdale with scoreless ninth inning to help Scorpions advance to the Arizona Fall League semi-final.
November 16 – Arizona Fall League concludes for T.J. Brock (0.00 ERA), Ryan Jennings (0.00 ERA), Johnathan Lavallee (1.74 ERA), Adrian Pinto (Clinch HR, ASG HR) and Peyton Williams (12 RBI, .808 OPS).

November 22 – Righthander Adam Kloffenstein (2019, 2021-2022) is non-tendered by the St. Louis Cardinals after making his MLB debut with a perfect inning and earning a hold in the Rickwood Field game against the San Francisco Giants in Birmingham, Alabama on July 31.
November 22 – Lefty Zach Logue is non-tendered by the Los Angeles Dodgers, making him a free agent.
November 22 – Righthander Sean Reid-Foley (2014) avoids arbitration by signing a one-year deal with the New York Mets after ending the year on the 60-day injured list with a shoulder impingement.
November 25 – Infielder Franklin Barreto (2014) signs a minor-league deal with the Baltimore Orioles after spending the 2024 season with the Diablos Rojos del México of the Mexican League, who went on to win the Series del Rey.
November 27 – C’s assistant general manager Stephani Ellis leaves to accept the position of Assistant Athletic Director, Business Development & Revenue Generation at The George Washington University in DC. The 2019 Northwest League Female Executive of the Year had been with the club since 2015.

December 3 – Baseball America announces its Top 10 Toronto Blue Jays minor league prospects. Lefty Ricky Tiedemann (2022) is named the number-one prospect with infielder Orelvis Martinez (2021) rated fourth, shortstop Josh Kasevich (2023) ranked sixth with Alan Roden and lefthander Kendry Rojas (2024) rounding out the top 10 at numbers nine and 10 respectively.
December 3 – Baseball America also releases the results of its Best Tools survey of the Blue Jays system with 2022-2024 with Quebec City, Quebec catcher Nic Deschamps (2024) and Oakville, Ontario outfielder Dasan Brown (2022-2024) earning recognition.

December 3 – Baseball America projects the 2028 Blue Jays roster will have Orelvis Martinez at second base, Addison Barger (2022) at third, Alan Roden in right field, Ricky Tiedemann as the number one starter and Ryan Jennings as closer.
December 3 – The Toronto chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America names infielder Spencer Horwitz as the Blue Jays Rookie of the Year.
December 9 – 2022 bullpen coach/2023 pitching coach Joel Bennett announces on Twitter he is joining the Cincinnati Reds organization as a minor league pitching coach.
December 11 – Spencer Horwitz and minor league outfielder Nick Mitchell are traded by the Toronto Blue Jays to the Cleveland Guardians for second baseman Andrés Giménez and reliever Nick Sandlin. Horwitz is then dealt by Cleveland to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

December 11 – Garrett Spain is selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the minor league Rule 5 Draft.
December 13 – Dasan Brown and righthander Irv Carter (2024) visit Holland Bloorview Kids Hospital in Toronto.
December 17 – Major League Baseball grants shortstop Leo Jiménez (2022) and pitcher Hagen Danner (2021) are granted an extra minor league option.
December 19 – Zach Logue signs a deal with the Doosan Bears of the KBO (Koren) League.
December 20 – Eric Pardinho signs a minor league deal with the Toronto Blue Jays with an invite to Spring Training.
December 20 – Righthander Hagen Danner is designated for assignment by the Toronto Blue Jays.
