Of note, Biggio and Capra led Jays hitters with eight walks apiece while Talley drew five walks and López and Sosa hearing ball four four times. Capra and Orelvis Martinez led all former C’s with seven runs batted in, two off the team lead held by Bo Bichette. Barger was one back with six RBI. Britton, Orelvis Martinez and Talley had two homers apiece, two back off Bichette in that department. Berroa pulled into a three-way tie in stolen bases with Bichette and Santiago Espinal.

Manoah’s 20-1/3 innings and 21 strikeouts placed him second on the Jays pitching staff next to Yusei Kikuchi who worked 20-2/3 innings with 31 punchouts. Pearson struck out 13 batters and shared the saves lead with Zulueta, Burnette, Juenger and Robbins.

2022 Vancouver Canadians utilityman Harry Ray will be playing for the Washington Wild Things of the Frontier League. The 25 year-old batted .204 with a home run and four stolen bases with Monty’s Mounties last season.
2012 C’s lefty Daniel Norris is leaving one Ohio city for another. After being released by the Cincinnati Reds on March 20, he was picked up four days later by the Cleveland Guardians. The 29-year-old hurler split last season between the Chicago Cubs and the Detroit Tigers, finishing with a 2-0 record and a 3.45 earned run average with Detroit after going 0-4 with a 6.90 ERA with Chicago.
