Vancouver Canadians outfielder Chavez Young is the latest player to take his turn at-bat in the latest instalment of C's Chat. Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 39th round of the 2016 draft out of Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Ludowici, Georgia, the 6-foot-2 Young decided to turn pro after the Jays gave him a $200,000 signing bonus.

The 19 year-old right-handed hitter from Corona, California was in the midst of his second professional season with Cleveland before he was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays as part of the deal that sent reliever Joe Smith to Ohio.
