Vancouver Canadians outfielder Chavez Young is the latest player to take his turn at-bat in the latest instalment of C's Chat. Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 39th round of the 2016 draft out of Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Ludowici, Georgia, the 6-foot-2 Young decided to turn pro after the Jays gave him a $200,000 signing bonus.

The Vancouver Canadians are the 2017 Northwest League champions as they dethroned the 2016 champion Eugene Emeralds with a 2-1 victory at Nat Bailey Stadium Tuesday night.
